What do Youth for Christ do...
Nationally :
Recruiting and training young Christian adults in a variety of ministries - sports, creative arts, evangelism, youth work - through our range of year-out programmes.
Creative arts and sports teams are available to help churches and youth work projects with large missions or to enhance regular youth work.
Partnerships with other Christian organisations (including The Message Trust, Soul Survivor, Scripture Gift Mission, Tearfund) on special projects and missions.
Locally :
Almost 60 local YFC centres are at work throughout Britain, taking good news relevantly to every young person in their particular area.
Their methods vary widely and may include: schools work, prison ministry, drop-in caf?, detached street work, night club chaplaincies, youth clubs, mentoring, helplines, large events... and much more besides!
Supporting churches:
A wide-range of books and other resources for use with youth groups.
Christian holidays for young people and Fort Rocky residential weekends for entire youth groups.
Regular training events - on our own and in partnership with other organisations.
Mission teams for churches to book.
Amaze - the UK's only professional body for Christian youth workers.
